GIANNIS PSYXOPAIDIS
He was born in Athens in 1945
Studies: Athens School of Fine Arts 1963 – 1968. She continued her postgraduate studies in painting at the Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Munich as a scholarship holder of the German state 1971-1975.
He worked in Munich until 1977. Immediately afterwards he settled in Berlin, as a scholarship holder of the DAAD Berlin Art Program, where he lived and worked until 1986. From 1987 to 1992 he lived in Brussels, when he returned to Greece.
He was a founding member of the group “Young Greek Realists”, 1971 and of the Center for Fine Arts (KET 1971 -76 Athens). He was a member of the artistic group 10/9 of Munich (1975).
In 1994 he was elected professor at ASKT, he taught until 2012 and in 2013 he was named professor emeritus
