Belisarius Kristic
Belisarius Kristic’s works speak in all languages.
Leaving behind the tragic images of the war he had experienced in the turbulent -recently- years in his homeland, he seems to escape the nightmares, as observed by the unforgettable art critic Sofia Kazazi, who had noted: the domination of red, the color of passion and joy, together with fragmentary forms of our modern consumer environment take you to life and joy. Hope is reborn.
The work was presented at the Papatzikou Gallery in the solo exhibition (engraving & painting) by Velissarios Kristic with the general title “Memory Overlay” in November 2008.
